dslr camera with twin lens kit image
PeteTheELi
I am planning to buy a dslr for around $650 to $720. I am currently considering the pentax k-x with twin lens kit, which is like a 55mm and 300mm lenses for $720. Any other cameras you suggest I get instead or should I stick with getting the k-x? Thanks.

Hi PeteTheELite,
I think Nikon D3100 14.2MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S DX VR Nikkor Zoom Lens. Nikon has unveiled the D3100, its latest entry-level offering and its first DSLR that can record full 1080p HD videos.

What is the difference in 045d DSLR camera ?
A
Can anyone give me idea about the following two? What is the difference?
What about Tamron lens?
What is the problem if I donât have 18mm-27mm (as there is a gap if I go for Tamron)
Canon EOS 450D Digital SLR Camera Twin Lens Kit with : 18-55mmIS + and 75-300 Lens $1229
Canon EOS 450D Digital SLR Camera + Tamron 28-300mm Lens $1,399
Answer
amazon have the Canon EOS 450D aka XSi rebel for $650 with the 18-55mm IS lens and free shipping
you usually want Canon lens with Canon camera bodies...I wouldn't suggest you going with a Tamron to start off 28-300mm is a zoom lens
1st choice is better although the 75-300 zoom lens isn't that great......if it was me I'd just get the camera with the kit lens and get the 55-250mm IS later
