What lenses are cheap for blackmagic cinema?

Please help!!!!!!! I just got a blackmagic camera and i need a good but cheap lense for it

What's the difference between the Blackmagic Cinema Camera EF and Blackmagic Cinema Camera MFT? I understand the basic difference, but what would cause someone to buy one or the other?
Also, what are good lenses for filming that are compatable of working with the BlackMagic Cinema Camera?

So the EF is a Canon mount for Canon EOS lenses.
Great EOS mount lenses include:
50mm f1.2
50mm f1.4
24-70 f2.8
24-105 f4.
Canon, Zeiss, Tokina, Sigma, Rokinon all make great EOS glass but remember that the cinema camera's sensor is significantly smaller than something like a 5D mkIII meaning that your 50mm lens is going to behave more like a 100mm which makes getting wide shots tough.
MFT is the micro four thirds mount and the one I'd recommend for this time of camera.
The MFT mount is shared by panasonic, Olympus, and the BMPCC and Olympus, Panasonic, Voigtlander, Sigma all make great glass. Some of the best include:
Panasonic Leica 25mm f1.5
Olympus 45mm f1.8
Sigma ART series
Voigtlander f0.95 series
Since micro four thirds glass is designed to fit on smaller sensors you tend to find a more usable range of options allowing you to get more usable shots.
In the end, go with what you already own lenses for

Perfect lenses for blackmagic pocket cinema camera?

Hi guys, my black magic pocket cinema camera is just about the corner, but I don't have a large budget for lenses. (up to 1000$) Ideally I want a lens good for close ups and wide shots so I was thinking about in the slr magic 12 mm cine lens but am looking for another lenses to cover other áreas.
what would be the best lenses I could get for my price range (1000 - 1100 dls=)? taking advantage of the mft electronic feature with lenses

Is there a canon lens that will autofocus without the lens moving and without having to press shutter?

I have a t3i. I want a lens that will autofocus, however, I don't want to press the shutter, and I want it to focus like your standard video camera. Yknow, the cameras with the built in lens that autofocus on the inside all by itself, completely silent. Is there a lens for the t3i like that?

Part of the issue is the lens. Part of the issue is the location of the mic in the camera. Because low-end dSLRs are designed to capture still images and video (and audio) is a secondary "convenience feature", the location of the built-in mic and lack of internal audio dampening causes the built-in mic to record the motors moving the lens when auto-focus is used. You have a couple of options for resolution:
1) Use an external mic.
2) Use an external recorder and synch the audio when editing.

"Your standard video camera" is designed to capture video - and audio. The mics are better isolated form the camcorder body. It isn't that the lens focus mechanism is "completely silent"... the lens moves and makes noise, but because the camcorder is designed to capture video and audio, the design of the mic installation is very different.

Since we're here, you probably should read up on the overheating and file length limitation of your camera. You will find the same information in the manual for the T4i - and pretty much any dSLR designed to capture stills.

If the large sensor or other specific dSLR feature is required, then use of a device designed to capture video is much more appropriate. The Blackmagic Design Cinema Cam, Canon EOS (C100/C300/C500) Cinema Cam series, Sony NEX-VG series and NEX-EA series or the Panasonic AG-AF series are essentially dSLRs designed to capture video.

If there was such a thing, the professionals would already be using them... because they are professionals, they don't like to spend money unless they have to and that translates into more money in their pocket not tied up purchasing equipment.

Since camcorders can range from low end consumer cams at about $50 to high end pro gear at $80,000 and more, and we assume you already have audio (mics, cables/wireless), lighting (on camera or on trees/trusses), steadying devices (tripod, vest system with articulated counterbalanced arm, camera crane, etc.) and know how to edit the video and use color correction and all the various tools that come with good editors - and a computer that can deal with high definition video editing effectively, we can focus on the camcorder or camera itself... and you have not provided enough information.

Any camcorder - provided there is enough light and it is used properly - can provide "stunning" video. Generally, no fast action, normal levels of audio and never used handheld. We assume the subject is the important parts - and the editing and the rendering is done well. As camcorders increase in price, lenses get bigger, imaging chips get bigger, video compression can go down and manual audio controls are used properly. At the lowest end of useful "cheapish" camcorders will be the prosumers. A little over $1,000 with a 58mm lens diameter and smallish imaging chip. Then the entry pro-grade with 67mm lens diameter or larger and larger imaging chip or 3-chip array in the $3,000 range. The Sony HDR-FX1000 and NEX-EA50UH are examples (I have both). At the low end, it is possible that a GoPro Hero action cam, or any of the consumer cams from Sony, Panasonic, Canon (I like the HF R400) could be useful.

A newish family of camcorders like the Canon EOS C100/C300/C500, Blackmagic Design Cinema Cam, Sony NEX-VG and NEX-EA series and Panasonic AG-AC100 and above are doing some cool work with skilled folks using them...

And we have not hit "expensive" yet... that would be Red or Silicon Imaging or the higher end Sony CineAlta or Panasonic Varicam gear among others.

All the above record to some sort of digital format - there is no "film" involved. If you need film, then use of a film camera (See Panavision and Arri - among others) is needed. Or something vintage from the 8mm film days (no audio capture).

Well the title pretty much says it all lol. I have been normally been using Windows Movie Maker but lately it has been very, VERY annoying. So I was wondering if there was any free software that will let me take a clip speed it up and put music to it?
