NO it cannot use interchangeable lenses. For that you will have to look at a new dSLR or EVIL camera. Those cameras can use interchangeable lenses.

Hi! I am a beginner with cameras so I don't really know whats good. I want to buy a good digital camera with interchangeable lens's and I want the camera to have a good battery life. Also I like High quality pictures so like a high mega pixel camera would be nice. Also Nothing really expensive like I don't know nothing over $200? I really want a good camera. Thank you!!!!! :)

There are no DSLR's under $200. if you don't want to spend more money on a camera than a DSLR is not for you! their lenses can cost more than the body.

For $200 look in to a Nikon L120 or any of the Nikon point and shoot cameras.
that's what I had to start out with, don't think you cant get a great picture with a point and shoot!

But if you do end up making your budget higher than I would recommend getting a Nikon D3100, Perfect for beginners like yourself!

What is the best digital SLR camera or Interchangeable lens camera?

I'm a beginner looking into some cameras. I want a camera that has a lot of room to grow with and isn't necessarily the most expensive nor the cheapest on the market. I am also stuck in between getting a DSLR or Interchangeable lens camera. I'm looking at the Sony NEX 5N, NEX 7, Nikon V1, among some other Nikon and Canon DSLR cameras.

The "best"? Nikon D4 or Canon 1D X

The best entry level dSLR would be the Nikon D3200 or Canon 1100D

If you want a smaller camera with interchangeable lenses then the Nikon V1 would be better than the J1

I was told that Nikon digital camera lenses are interchangeable with Nikon film camera lenses...the difference being that lenses made for the film cameras cost significantly less than those made for the digital cameras. Does anyone know if you this is true?

Since there are bridge cameras around $250, are there any bridge cameras with interchangeable lens functionality under $300?

I think there wont be any at this price range, but someone might know of a not well known camera.

If it had a lens you could change, it wouldn't be a bridge camera. You can get a refurbished D-SLR for around $300.

I am casual photographer, I currently own a Canon SX- 210 IS compact digital zoom camera. I would like to upgrade to a Interchangeable Lens Camera which has digital SLR like photos I have been considering a Sony N E X -5N or a Nikon J 1 both of which are relatively new models from each manufacturer. I am sure there are some even better models of these out on the market at this time.

Honestly speaking, if i were you i'd stay away from either of the two cameras you mentioned. Get the Canon T2i instead. Its a great camera, i have one i can not stress how much i love it. Has given me stunning quality images since day one and i believe it will stay with me for a long time. Read this review for it to aid in your decision:
