ok so I want to get a fisheye lens for my iPhone. I have the 3GS but I'm thinking of getting an android soon as well. & I want a fisheye lens for both my iPhone and android. I want something from amazon because I like their prices. So what fisheye lens can I get to work for both my phones.

Removing spray paint from cell phone camera lens?

I painted the the area around my camera lens and got some spray paint on it. It's not the top piece over the lens. That piece of glass broke and I removed it. It's the actual first layer of glass for the lens. It's small and rounded, and is indented into the phone. My only precaution was putting tissue in it and the first 2 coatings it didn't seep through, the third it did. After using normal acetone nail polish remover, glass cleaner, lens cleaner for my prescription glasses, and jewelry cleaner. It still looks foggy when I take pictures.

Anything I can try?

Most likely it looks foggy because you etched a coating on the lens with the acetone. Buy a new phone.

Hi, I have Nokia n95 8gb. I have left it in bathroom while I was in the shower and my lens is now foggy, with moisture/water from inside. WHAT TO DO??? Please help.

If you have a convection oven set the oven to low (up to 170 should be fine) and leave the phone in for an hour or two. It will dry up.

If you don't have a convection oven, turn the oven to low (without the phone in or it will get grilled). After the oven has heated up, turn it off and put the phone in. Several applications should dry up your phone.

What is the best place to buy a cell phone and a SLR Camera Lens Thailand/Singapore?

Am kinda desperate to get an answer as i have no clue ..

I will down to Singapore and Thailand in the next week.
and the 2 things i must get are a Nice cell phone and a new lens for my SLR camera

Not what i wanna know which place is the BEST as in Cheapest and reliable place among Bangkok and Singapore .. and where in these cities specifically ?!

if you really want to get cheap mobile phones Laos is a winner and a very short trip from Thailand (1500thb return air asia flight from Bangkok to Udon Tani and 1 hour bus accross teh border ) for a days shopping fo DIRT CHEAP phones you go to the shopping mall opposite the bus stop near teh morning markets in Vientiane. As that may be to much out fo your way you may be best of to opt for any given shopping mall in BKK
I think it depends on what kind of phone you want.
BKK has cheaper knock off copys of phones that are of awesome quality but are phoney for dirt cheap prices singapore has 'real' phones at a more competitive price.
starting price for a i-phone mini dual sim card in MBK will be 7000thb and they will drop a lot fo that maybe down to about 4 or 5k the same phone in Laos will be 2500thb. remember to haggle hard.

I've noticed for a while that it is popular for girls to put their phone in their back pocket with part of the phone sticking up. Just recently I have noticed that the camera lens is usually the part sticking up.

Are girls recording us guys while we get a peek?

If any of you ladies have tried this I would love to see the vids, that would be hilarious! I bet going up escalators would get some interesting captures.

I actully know a lot of girls that do that and i am one of them. girls do that either for teo reasons 1 is to see who is checkin them out and 2nd is so they can see what there doing.

The "lens" you see isn't really the camera lens. Obviously the phone carriers have thought about how many scratches you would get on the lens and already did something about it. They that little glass thing on it. Whether it's glass or whatever it is, it's not the lens, it's just the lens covering.That's why you can get a fingerprint and you can't really tell when you take the photo. But if you want to protect that, which usually should be fine, then you would have to buy one of those full body plastic screen covers. They would cover the entire phone in a plastic wrap almost. Basically it's just putting screen protectors all over your phone and they should also cover the camera lens cover from scratches and other things like dust. But that might actually affect the camera quality because the plastic on the lens might distort the image, but it can be removed easily.
